AP Horticulture Area Expansion Subsidy (MIDH)

Andhra Pradesh Department of Horticulture, under the centrally-sponsored Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), assists farmers taking up area expansion of fruit and horticulture crops (mango, guava, cashew, acid lime, banana, papaya, flowers etc.). Subsidy is 40% of the government-defined unit cost for establishing new gardens, released over 3 years in a 60:20:20 pattern for perennial crops. Related components include 50% subsidy on pack houses (max ₹2 lakh) and farm ponds (50% individual / 100% community). Subsidy released directly to beneficiaries via DBT.
