Kisan Credit Card Scheme for Fisheries- Chief Minister Fishermen Prosperity Scheme

DETAILS The “Kisan Credit Card Scheme for Fisheries” is a component scheme under the "Chief Minister Fishermen Prosperity Scheme" launched by the Fisheries Welfare and Fisheries Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, working capital is provided at a zero percent interest rate through cooperative banks to the fish farmers engaged in fisheries operations. The scheme offers interest subvention to ensure affordable credit for beneficiaries and reduce their financial burden. BENEFITS Short-term working capital loans for fisheries activities under the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) facility. Fish farmers receive interest subvention, enabling access to zero-percent interest loans through cooperative banks. The loan amount is determined as per bank norms and scheme provisions, based on the financial requirement of the fish farmer. ELIGIBILITY The applicant must be a landholding farmer, marginal farmer, small farmer, fish farmer, livestock owner, BPL beneficiary, unorganized worker card holder, or registered worker. The applicant must be engaged in fisheries activities.
