The Chief Minister’s Green Taxi Scheme, part of the CM-ELEVATE Program by the Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department, Government of Meghalaya, promotes clean mobility and green entrepreneurship in the Greater Shillong Planning Area (GSPA). The scheme targets pollution reduction, electric vehicle adoption, and support for individuals, SHGs, and cooperatives.

The Green Business Scheme has been launched by the National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) to provide financial assistance in the form of loans for activities that can tackle the impacts of climate change and also be income-generating.
