The Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TSMFC, incorporated 1 May 2015 as a Section-8 company wholly owned by the Government of Telangana) extends bank-linked subsidy under its Economic Support Scheme to economically-backward Minority Communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Parsis, Buddhists, Jains) for industrial, service, agriculture and allied units. There are two categories: Category-1 (₹1 lakh unit) with 80% subsidy and Category-2 (₹2 lakh unit) with 70% subsidy, the balance being a bank loan. Applicant age 21–55, annual income up to ₹2,00,000, BPL / white ration-card holders. Applications are managed through OBMMS; TSMFC also runs an Own Your Auto scheme (50% subsidy) and vocational training.
