Delivered as Individual Self Employment Schemes — Margin Money (rural areas) and BC Abhyudaya Yojana (urban areas). Age of beneficiary 21–51 years (up to 55 for Agriculture & Allied). Units are grouped into Category I (up to ₹3 lakh), Category II (₹3.01–5 lakh) and Category III (₹5.01–10 lakh); the balance over subsidy is a bank loan with ~5% beneficiary contribution. Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation (TRICOR, est. 1976 vide GO Ms.No.141) acts as a facilitator providing subsidy of 60% of the unit cost subject to a maximum of ₹1,00,000 on bank-linked economic support units for Scheduled Tribe families below the poverty line, in the fields of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry and ISB/self-employment. Transport and other individual units are also sanctioned with TRICOR subsidy plus a term loan from NSTFDC. Applications registered online through OBMMS.

This is a credit-linked scheme with a primary objective of providing self-employment opportunities to Schedule castes, the unemployed persons will be assisted by way of establishing Dairy units, Piggery units, and Sheep/Goat units.

The "Sheep Rearing Scheme" scheme is implemented by the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) in collaboration with the bank tie-up schemes. The HSFDC is a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 on 02.01.1971. It is a wholly Government-owned Corporation with a 51% share of the State Government and a 49% share of the Government of India.

The Telangana Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation implements bank-linked Self-Employment (Economic Support) Schemes for Scheduled Caste families under the annual SC Action Plan. The Corporation subsidy is graduated by unit cost: 80% for units up to ₹1 lakh, 70% for units up to ₹2 lakh and 60% (subsidy limited to ₹5 lakh) for units of ₹2.01 lakh up to ₹12 lakh, with the balance as a bank loan / beneficiary contribution. A separate non-bank-linked Economic Support Scheme gives 100% subsidy up to ₹50,000. Only one scheme per family in 5 years; applications register online on the OBMMS portal (tsobmms.cgg.gov.in) in consultation with the MPDO, and beneficiaries are identified by Grama Sabhas (rural) / Ward Sabhas (urban).

The Telangana Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation Ltd (TRICOR, registered under the Telangana State Cooperative Societies Act 1964, Reg. No. TAB 615) acts as a facilitator providing subsidy on the unit cost of Economic Support Schemes for below-poverty-line Scheduled Tribe families in Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry and ISB / self-employment sectors. Per G.O. 101 dt. 31.12.2013 the subsidy is 60% of the unit cost subject to a maximum of ₹1,00,000, with the balance as a bank loan (part institutional finance / NSTFDC). Funds are routed through ITDAs and District Level Committees. All applications register through the OBMMS portal (tsobmms.cgg.gov.in).

The Telangana Sheep Distribution Scheme (launched 20 June 2017) strengthens the rural economy of the Yadava / Golla / Kuruma shepherd communities. It is implemented by the Telangana State Sheep and Goat Development Cooperative Federation (TSSGDCF) under the Animal Husbandry Department. Each beneficiary receives a unit of 20 sheep + 1 ram on 75% government subsidy, the beneficiary bearing 25%; the unit cost was ₹1,25,000 in Phase-1 (later revised to ₹1,75,000). Breeds are procured from outside the state (Nellore Brown/Dora, Nellore Jodipi, Deccani, Madras Red). Insurance covers death of sheep/ram (₹5,000 / ₹7,000). Any shepherd-community member above 18 years is eligible.
